Introduction to Incubation Centers

Incubation centers are institutions affiliated with government entities or educational institutions, either public or private. These centers have responsibilities such as accepting ideas from innovators, guiding innovators and entrepreneurs in the emergence of new businesses, supporting intellectual property rights, and establishing startup companies within the incubation centers. The main goal of incubation centers is to promote progress within the country, and their success in achieving their objectives largely depends on the scientific and experiential capabilities of the inventors and innovators. Financial support provided by these centers to innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs is one of the services offered, and according to the perspective of ICSC designers, a mistaken view of inventors and innovators as mere entrepreneurs leads to the ineffectiveness of incubation centers.

There are fundamental differences between the performance of incubation centers in developed countries and those in developing countries.

ICT

Science and Technology Parks are organizations managed by professional experts, and they are established with national goals in order to compete in creating and producing technology and innovation and increasing national wealth by enhancing motivation among entrepreneurs, innovators, inventors, and industry owners. The goal of these organizations is to create a competitive-oriented process that contributes to the economic growth and development of countries. ICT are positioned at a higher and more advanced level compared to incubation centers. However, the functioning of these centers in developing countries is significantly different from the efficiency and productivity seen in industrialized countries, and for this reason, they have been unable to reduce the technological gap.

TCSC: Techno Cocoon Stations Center

TCSC are the most advanced and comprehensive centers for national development. TCSC are advanced and capable institutions consisting of university professors, investors, and advanced physical and technological facilities. They are significantly more advanced than ICT and incubation centers, and due to their different mechanisms, they do not have the performance drawbacks of ICT and incubation centers. These centers are designed solely for government control and are capable of transforming a poor country into a developing country within 8 years and a developing country into an advanced country within 10 years.
